To be honest her gown reminds me of a chenille blanket from the 70s. But the fit is immaculate and she really does look princess bride-ish.


I have very fond memories of these ribbed turtlenecks. My mom had one in about every color, and I would borrow them in grade school and play adult. They look much better on Jackie...the proper size and all.


I think she looks like Mariska Hargitay here. Or the other way around really.


Ah, the Ralph Lauren Collection Gift Vault. I was at Ralph Lauren the other day, and tried on the most beautiful Jet Heart Necklace from their Estate Collection. I wish I could find a pic, but I am pretty sure all those pieces are one of a kind. I love this piece though. It too is from the Estate Collection, and looks regal.

Chicago winter is upon us. Downcoats, boots, hats, gloves. Every winter I wonder why the hell I live in this city. The cold makes it hard to get out of bed, get dressed in anything other that sweats and oversized sweaters, clean my apartment (?). This year...this winter...I will try my damnedest to put on a cheery disposition, brush my teeth and put a bleaching strip in (despite the fact that the cold air makes my bleached teeth chatter), double up on Opaque tights, and wear a little Hope in a Jar to counteract face chapping.

My Weapons of Choice:


Philosophy Hope in a Jar. Hopefully, this can work miracles on my bad karma.


Dermalogica Lip Treatment. Lotion for lips. Climate control with maximum impact. And Jet Stream.



Bumble and Bumble prep. Pre-styling spray for wet hair but tames the frizzies in a mayjah way.
